ABOUT

As the first American-born in my Brazilian family, I’ve had a lifelong connection to art. My creative spark started early when my parents gave me a set of markers at the age of three, and it never faded. By the time high school was ending, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in the arts, though I wasn’t sure where to start. Teaching myself Illustrator and Photoshop opened the door to the world of digital design, and I instantly fell in love with the creative possibilities.

My first break came when I landed a three-month internship at Perry Ellis, designing tags and clothing labels. Before the internship ended, I put together a small portfolio of my own design sketches and shared it with the graphics director, which led to my first full-time role as a graphic designer—without a degree or prior experience. I threw myself into learning everything I could, and that early opportunity at 19 set the foundation for the career I’ve built in digital design ever since.
